Helicobacter pylori and acetylsalicylic acid synergistically accelerate apoptosis via Fas antigen pathway in rabbit gastric epithelial cells

摘要: The mechanism for gastric epithelial cellular apoptosis by both H. pylori and NSAIDs remains unknown. Normal cells, collected from rabbit stomach, were cultured with viable and/or an acetylsalicylic acid 24 hr as in vitro model of cell injury. Fas antigen expression rate the cells was measured using a FACScan. In group E, which inoculation followed treatment NSAID, significantly higher than observed after either or NSAID alone. Despite fact that drug alone did not increase vs control cells. results suggest induce injury via pathway synergistic manner this effect is particularly strong when follows infection.
