摘要: Rodent assemblages have ecological importance in ecosystem functioning and protected area management. Our study examines the patterns of rodents across four habitat types (i.e., Miombo woodland, Acacia grasslands farmlands) savanna environment. Capture-mark-recapture (CMR) methods were applied for data collection Chembe Bird Sanctuary (CBS) landscape. The Non-metric Multi-Dimensional Scaling (NMDS) was used exploratory analysis, followed by Analysis Variance (ANOVA) Tukey–Kramer’s Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) post-hoc tests. rodent CBS significantly differed between non-farmlands woodland grasslands) farmlands. There were: (1) zero diversity farmlands, dominated completely a pest species, M. natalensis; (2) different three non-farmland types. We suggest that should be mediated conservation planning multi-stakeholder collaboration beyond boundaries to contribute working landscape positively.
