Frost affects grain yield components in winter wheat

摘要: The influence of frost stress during the jointing stage in winter wheat was examined for original tillers (OT), regenerated (RT) and yield components cultivars Yumai 18, Zhoumai 18 Yanzhan 4110. Ear number per plant, kernel ear, 1000-kernel weight plant were recorded under a range subfreezing temperatures (−1, −3, −5, −7 −9°C). results modelled by linear quadratic regression. In model, ear three all significant (P < 0.001) their fitted curves showed concave-downward parabolic trend as temperature decreased. By analysing change characteristics OT RT following treatment, it found that decreased increased resulting trend. Final result these opposing behaviours with partly offsetting one another thus...
