摘要: The cultivation of crops under conditions low predictability climatic variability can be considered as an element significant reduction in production results. potato is defined a crop that sensitive to intense cold, and the cycle occur period risk frost events. In south Brazil different phases ENSO (El Nino-Southern Oscillation), La Nina, El Nino or neutrality, oscillations normals, including minimum temperatures. Thus, study aimed assess risks occurrence frosts intensities during development cycle, at planting periods Guarapuava-PR, climate neutrality. A 43-year historical series data between 1976 2018 was used. analyzes were performed using descriptive statistics percentage indexes normalization set. grouped december for months August October March May, when there frequency possibility field. Among main results it found period, with minimization occurring region Guarapuava, comprised September 21 January 31 both ENSO, Nina Climate general, years neutrality subject greater losses due compared phenomenon.
