摘要: Abstract Context Despite the availability of numerous tools professing to measure quality life (QOL) in palliative care setting, no single instrument includes all patient-valued domains. Objectives To identify which aspects QOL are important from patients' perspectives, aiding coverage, and content validity evaluation available tools. Methods A systematic review synthesis qualitative research was conducted according Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses guidelines. ASSIA, CINAHL, Cochrane library, Embase, Medline, PsycINFO, PubMed were searched database inception December 31, 2015. Published, peer-reviewed, English-language articles reporting primary data investigating domains adults with a progressive, life-limiting illness included. Studies priori exploring chosen aspect not Articles scoring ≤2 on excluded. Framework used key themes across studies. Results Overall, 3589 screened 24 studies Eight identified: physical; personal autonomy; emotional; social; spiritual; cognitive; healthcare; preparatory. All but one study discussed spiritual aspects, whereas only six mentioned cognitive aspects. Conclusion broad range people illnesses receiving palliation.
