摘要: In a survey of random sample the general population recent life events, collected and rated for long-term contextual threat according to methods Brown & Harris (1978), were also recorded where possible on an inventory event categories (Tennant Andrews, 1977). Of 82·5% all events which covered by inventory, 12 67 accounted 77% with aetiologicaly significant rating marked or moderate threat. Where practical economic constraints oblige research workers choose method, brief list categories, such as List Threatening Experiences, is recommended in preference much longer lists.
