Theoretical foundations for user-controlled forgetting in scrutable long term user models

摘要: Emerging technologies are making it feasible for people to capture large amounts of personal information that can support important aspects their lives. When is stored in a persistent storage so drive personalisation, called user model. There has been little exploration systematic approaches enable gain control over such models using forgetting mechanisms. This paper first presents reasons why mechanisms desirable. Then analyses core forms human as the basis theoretical model models. Our key contribution establish foundations design and interfaces stores information, with goal these mechanisms, we achieve new form its use.
