摘要: The exact magnitude of the benefit influenza vaccine among elderly individuals is subject considerable debated. Existing effectiveness estimates come mostly from observational studies, which may be biased because difficulties in identifying and adjusting for confounders. In this paper, we examine potential sources bias studies discuss available evidence regarding efficacy licensed vaccines. Although several methodological criticisms analyses on seasonal vaccines were identified, overall showed relevant efficacy/effectiveness reducing risk its complications elderly, considering different measure outcome.
