摘要: Whole-genome sequencing is revolutionizing the analysis of bacterial genomes. It leads to a massive increase in amount available data be analyzed. Bacterial genomes are usually composed one main chromosome and number accessory chromosomes, called plasmids. A recently developed methodology PLACNET (for plasmid constellation networks) allows reconstruction plasmids given genome. Thus, it opens an avenue for plasmidome on global scale. This work reviews our knowledge genetic determinants propagation (conjugation related functions), their diversity, prevalence variety found by whole-genome sequencing. focuses results obtained from collection 255 Escherichia coli reconstructed PLACNET. The E. represent nonaleatory subset proteobacteria. Potential reasons some specific groups will discussed and, more importantly, additional questions posed.
