摘要: Purpose Among facial fractures, zygomatic arch fractures occur rather frequently. Facial have recently been classified in fine detail according to computed tomographic findings. Nevertheless, there exists no classification of the fracture, which has a physiognomically important place, provide guidance for treatment. We aimed make detailed various shapes, does not exist literature, and form an algorithm Patients Methods A total 451 patients with treated our clinic from 1987 through 2004 were assessed retrospectively treatment viewpoint together radiological clinical Results At end this assessment, divided into 2 groups: 1 ) isolated alone broke, combined broke other bones. Isolated also subgroups as A) arch, B) more than 2. fracture lines V-shaped where fragments are partially reduced those displaced. As they subgrouped single plural. Plural further within their own group, whether displaced or not. Conclusion In preservation position was satisfactory during closed reduction afterwards. required open internal rigid fixation. The same used one fractures. addition classification, we formed guide us based on series.
