摘要: Abstract Endomyocardial biopsy was done 119 times in 98 patients receiving doxorubicin therapy once every 3 weeks and 41 27 weekly. Factors contributing to the degree of anthracycline-induced endomyocardial injury were evaluated. Neither age, sex, type malignancy, concomitant use other chemotherapeutic agents including cyclophosphamide, nor history cardiac disease or hypertension influenced extent injury. The dose (p = 0.0001) schedule (weekly versus weekly) 0.0020) independently predicted damage multivariate analyses. Previous irradiation had borderline significance 0.074) predicting this analysis. Doxorubicin administered on a weekly is associated with less than delivered conventional, 3-weekly schedule.
