摘要: Plasma agarose gel electrophoresis (AGE) is recognized as a very reliable diagnostic tool in avian medicine. Within the last 10 years, new techniques such capillary zone (CZE) have emerged human laboratory medicine but never been investigated birds. To investigate use of CZE birds and to compare it with AGE, plasma samples from 30 roosters (Gallus gallus), 20 black kites (Milvus migrans), racing pigeons (Columba livia) were analyzed by both AGE CZE. For 3 species studied, values determined well correlated for albumin beta gamma fractions whereas other differed significantly. Values alpha-3 fraction rooster, alpha-1 kite, alpha pigeon obtained prealbumin Repeatability reproducibility appeared higher than AGE. Although interpretation patterns seems produce results similar those some proteins present measured migrated found requires specific reference intervals much sample volume, this method has many advantages when compared including better repeatability analysis output.
