Reform of vocational education and training in China

摘要: This summary addresses the reform of vocational education and training in China, reviewing successful economic reforms pursued since 1978, its labor market structure. The broad policy government is to move a system, but major issue whether an effective, efficient can be achieved through process small changes, while maintaining existing structures. Vocational education, are analyzed, along with management, costs, financing issues. Notable reveal obstacles, such as costs involved improving, expanding facilities, well institutional capacity development. While decentralization has been devolved provincial, county, city levels, greater cost-sharing, private provision for higher, secondary level training, being officially encouraged. In addition, there improved coordination local funding mechanisms in-service from government, enterprises, schools, other organizations.
