摘要: Bovine group A rotavirus (bovine RVA) is recognized as a major cause of severe gastroenteritis in newborn calves. The purpose this study was to estimate the prevalence and identify genotypes circulating bovine RVA diarrheic Two hundred fifty-three stool samples calves up 1 month old were collected from 42 industrial dairy farms two Iranian provinces during March 2010 February 2012. All screened for presence by RT-PCR, G P determined semi-nested multiplex RT-PCR assay. results indicated that 49.4 % (125 out 253) positive RVA. genotyping subset (n = 85) revealed G6 (55.3 %) G10 (43.5 P[5] (51.8 P[11] (27 most prevalent genotypes, respectively. G6P[5] dominant genotype (35.3 %), followed G10P[5], G10P[11] G6P[11], with rates 16.5 %, 15.3 10.6 Sequence analysis 20 VP7 four VP4 genes showed highest nucleotide sequence identity corresponding strains RVA/Cow-tc/GBR/UK/1973/G6P7[5] RVA/Cow-tc/USA/B223/XXXX/G10P[11]. reveal diversity expands our knowledge infections Middle East. These also highlight importance producing an effective vaccine its inclusion national cattle immunization program.
