摘要: Biological membranes carry out functions that are indispensable for life, including providing a barrier against the extracellular environment, giving shape to cell, creating matrix insertion of proteins, storing and transmitting energy, receiving amplifying signals, acting as capacitor is basis electrical excitability, permitting cell-to-cell adhesion, recognition antigenicity. composed three major classes lipids: phospholipids, glycolipids cholesterol. In plasma membrane, these different types lipids found at dissimilar concentrations in intracellular leaflet further organized into structures such nanodomains caveola.
