摘要: Transmission Expansion Planning (TEP) problem refers to proposing the optimal number and location of new transmission lines in order satisfy operation conditions with less investment costs. Adequacy evaluation trial solutions is essential solve TEP problem. This procedure may require a considerable computational e ort; therefore, improvement Evaluation Methods (AEMs) key achieve more ecient solution algorithms. It common practice employ Linear Programming (LP) called DC model" perform this evaluation, especially cases that generation rescheduling considered studies. In paper, an AEM proposed as alternative e ort adequacy evaluation. fact, applicable problems considering rescheduling. The study based on model where electrical aspect modeled power flow equations. To examine performance AEM, method employed meta-heuristic algorithm. Such combinatorial algorithm then applied di erent standard test systems well practical cases. simulation results show promising caused by employment AEM.
