摘要: SUMMARY Transmission network expansion planning (TNEP) is one of the most important parts power system studies. An optimal a transmission should also capable facilitating forecasted load patterns as well future generation. Mathematically, TNEP mixed integer nonlinear programming non convex problem that can be solved by either conventional or heuristic optimization algorithms. This paper proposes methodology for choosing plan considering less computational effort. The proposed composed from combination Modified Scatter Search Algorithm and Constructive Heuristic (CHA) New Load Shedding Index (NLSI). NLSI implemented without generation rescheduling in order to decrease number linear obtaining an solution. algorithm applied different cases: Garver, 24-Bus IEEE systems Southern Brazilian System 46 Buses system. simulation result shows significant performance method comparison with some studies addressed literature.
