摘要: This paper describes a new procedure for the optimal long range expansion planning of transmission network. In addition to providing an plan, set cost competitive plans can be generated. System is specified in terms discrete lines and two kV levels. Economic impact factors such as escalation, economy scale, right-of-way unavailability, external system interconnections, etc., are incorporated formulation. A dynamic optimization based on nonlinear branch bound algorithm employed. Computational speed also affected by user option employing either dc or ac load flow calculations.
