摘要: Abstract Er3+-doped alkali–barium–bismuth–tellurite (LKBBT) and alkali–barium–bismuth–gallate (LKBBG) glasses with high refractive indices low phonon energies have been designed, fabricated, characterized compared. Intense 1.53 μm emissions widely different widths in the two kinds of were observed recorded under 980 nm diode laser excitation. The full-widths at half-maximum emission bands LKBBT LKBBG are 58 40 nm, lifetimes them measured to be 3.21 3.97 ms, respectively. quantum efficiencies for 4I13/2 level both almost 100%. broad narrow spontaneous probabilities large cross-sections indicate that suitable materials developing broadband optical amplifier infrared laser,
