Nature of glassy magnetic state in magnetocaloric materials Dy5Pd2-xNix (x = 0 and 1) and universal scaling analysis of R5Pd2 (R = Tb, Dy and Er)

摘要: Abstract We report a systematic investigation of the magnetic and magnetocaloric properties Dy5Pd2 Dy5PdNi. Our study on these compounds gave evidence that they exhibit complex behaviour along with presence glass-like phase. Furthermore, in both second order first phase transitions were present, which validated through Arrott plots Landau's parameter analysis. The ac susceptibility time dependent magnetization has confirmed double cluster freezing These show significant value isothermal entropy change relative cooling power values increased Ni substitution. Beside conventional effect, inverse effect was noted compounds, might arise due to non-equilibrium state. Along universal characteristic curve involving two other members R5Pd2 family i.e. Er5Pd2 Tb5Pd2 constructed. obtained also indicates as well compounds. Additionally, followed law exponent indicated mixed interactions
