摘要: Worldwide, plants obtained through genetic modification are subject to a risk analysis and regulatory approval before they can enter the market. An area of concern addressed in environmental assessments is potential genetically modified (GM) adversely affect non-target arthropods valued ecosystem services provide. Environmental conducted case-by-case for each GM plant taking into account species, its trait(s), receiving environments which be released intended uses, combination these characteristics. To facilitate assessment plants, information on found relevant agro-ecosystems Europe has been compiled publicly available database bio-ecological during project commissioned by European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). Using different hypothetical maize case studies, we demonstrate how contained assist identifying species that may at selecting suitable laboratory testing, higher-tier as well post-market monitoring.
