摘要: Abstract Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) have emerged as important human pathogens and there are increasing reports of NTM infections worldwide. Both immunosuppressed well immunocompetent patients may be affected by these pathogens. Treatment options mostly guided antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) the involved NTM. However, since choice therapy is dependent on species, identification in a patient paramount prior to testing. duration prolonged frequently includes using multiple antimicrobials. Currently, however, AST guidelines limited select Additional information also required correlation breakpoints with clinical outcomes; an area that not documented literature. This chapter provides summary available for explores outcome data breakpoints.
