摘要: Humoral immunity to Hemophilus influenzae, type b was studied in normal human adults by means of assays for serum bactericidal and opsonizing activities against the organism passive hemagglutinating activity using erythrocytes sensitized with polyribophosphate, type-specific capsular antigen. Hemagglutinating detectable about 60% 114 sera tested. Serum were found all tested; levels some sera, however, quite low. The antibacterial due not only antibodies directed polyribophosphate capsule but also that appear be somatic antigens. Type strains differed their susceptibility antisomatic particular uniformly sensitive anticapsular antibody.
