摘要: Infektionen von Gefasprothesen sind schwerwiegende Komplikationen rekonstruktiven gefaschirurgischen Eingriffen mit hoher konsekutiver Amputationsrate und Letalitat. Ihre Pathogenese ist multifaktoriell, dementsprechend existieren verschiedenste prophylaktische Ansatze. Neben den Grundsatzen der chirurgischen Asepsis werden zusatzliche Masnahmen zur Verbesserung hygienischen Bedingungen in perioperativen Phase angewandt. Die perioperative Antibiotikaprophylaxe diesem Zusammenhang das einzige Mittel, einen gewissen Evidenzgrad Bezug auf die Senkung Rate Protheseninfekten erreicht hat. Modifikationen Prothesen Steigerung ihrer Infektresistenz z. B. durch Rifampicin- oder Silberbindung seit Langem Gebrauch, Datenlage hierfur allerdings nicht eindeutig Gegenstand weiterer Untersuchungen. Ahnliches gilt fur lokale Antibiotikaapplikation Form Gentamicin-Kollagen-Schwammen. Neue Technologien antimikrobielle Substanzen hier Zukunft moglicherweise einmal komplett infektresistente Prothese schaffen.
