摘要: The Mediterranean corn borer Sesamia nonagrioides (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) has a unique and recently multiplied juvenile hormone esterase gene family (SnJHER) with particular transcriptional profiles functional characteristics. Unlike conventional genes (JHEs), the SnJHER seems to have been evolved from common ancestral JHER gene. SnJHERs seem be regulated by both ecdysone agonists xenobiotics, while their real role in development remains exploited. In this study we transiently expressed major isoform Bm5 Hi5 cell lines. JHER-expressing lines showed increased toxicity when treated analog methoprene. Moreover baculovirus-mediated transient transduction of larvae S. resulted moulting abnormalities. These were more marked after additional application Our results indicate potential mechanism which interferes normal JHE.
