摘要: Runway friction under wet pavement condition is an important factor to ensure safety of landing aircrafts. Aircraft braking performance and cornering capabilities depend on the level available at aircraft-tire interface. During weather, skid resistance reduces substantially from its dry weather value. Reduced can lead longer distance reduced directional control. This may increase risk runway excursion. grooving has been commonly constructed overcome these problems. Experimental studies have demonstrated benefits in improving during conditions reducing hydroplaning. paper presents analytical approach evaluate beneficial effect conditions. An simulation model first developed wet-pavement aircraft a grooved given set operating The are defined by parameters such as speed, tire structural properties, surface wheel load, inflation pressure, water-film thickness. A numerical example presented illustrate application procedure compute aircraft.
