Electronic and optical properties of stacking-configuration-modulated bilayer graphene in electric and magnetic fields.

摘要: The electronic properties and optical excitations are investigated in the geometry- field-modulated bilayer graphene systems, respectively, by using tight-binding model Kubo formula. stacking symmetry of can be manipulated varying width position domain wall (DW) within two normally stacked graphene. All layer-dependent atomic interactions taken into consideration under external fields. modulation configuration gives rise to significant effects zone folding on energy subbands, subenvelope wave functions, density states, absorption spectra. This study clearly illustrates diverse 1D phenomena band structure spectra; DW- $V_z$-created dramatic variations comprehensively explored accurate calculations delicate analysis. Concise physical pictures proposed give further insight quasi-1D behaviors.
