摘要: It has recently been demonstrated that nanoscale molecular films can spontaneously assemble to self-generate intrinsic electric fields exceed 108 V/m. These originate from polarization charges in the material arise because self-assemble orient dipole moments. This called spontelectric effect. Such growth of polarized layers solids implications for our understanding how intermolecular interactions dictate structure materials used a range applications, example, semiconductors, sensors, and catalysts.
