摘要: Abstract The novel soluble alginate-based polyurethanes in organic solvents were synthesized by the reaction of NCO-terminated prepolymers and tributylammonium alginate (TBA-Alg) for first time. chemical structures characterized using FTIR, 1 H NMR TGA. completion was confirmed disappearing NCO band FTIR spectra. Furthermore, a peak at 4.71 ppm some small peaks range 4.12–4.37 ppm assigned to backbone alginate. results both remarkably TGA data. ionic nature polyurethane not only affects on thermal properties samples, but it also changes chemically-bonded morphology. Both polyether polyester based non-ionic extended TBA-Alg illustrated distinct alginate, whereas those ionomers appeared as continuous systems nanoscale.
