摘要: Pasteurella sp. were isolated from tonsillar swabs obtained 100 dogs and cats; isolation rates 92 per cent 99 respectively. Isolates identified according to recent taxonomic data. P. multocida subsp. septica common in cats but not dogs. canis was both cats. Compared with strains dogs, those more pathogenic for mice. Many of the species are considered potential human pathogens.
