摘要: Epac (exchange protein activated by cyclic-AMP) 2 is a direct target of 3'-5'-cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and involved in cAMP-mediated signal transduction through activation the Ras-like small GTPase Rap. Crystallographic analyses revealed that Epac2 cAMP accompanied dynamic structural changes. expressed mainly brain, neuroendocrine endocrine tissues, diverse cellular functions tissues. In this review, we summarize structure function Epac2. We also discuss physiological pathophysiological roles Epac2, possibility as therapeutic target.
