摘要: Objective Fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS) are among the principal effector cells in pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This study was undertaken to examine variety stimulating effects APRIL and its specific effect on FLS affected RA synovium. Methods Synovium serum samples were obtained from patients with RA, osteoarthritis (OA), healthy subjects. Soluble proteins assayed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The relative gene expression APRIL, BCMA, interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor α (TNFα), IL-1β, RANKL assessed OA polymerase chain reaction. Effects production proinflammatory cytokines investigated flow cytometry use a BCMA-Fc fusion protein. Results A significantly higher level soluble detected compared normal serum. Among 3 receptors tested, expressed only whereas none receptors. stimulated FLS, but not produce IL-6, TNFα, itself. In addition, increased also enhanced progression cell cycle FLS. Neutralization protein attenuated all these FLS. Conclusion RA express receptor BCMA. These results provide evidence that is one main regulators RA.
