摘要: Abstract Two consecutive bedside prevalence studies of 455 surgical patients were made by the same infection control nurse in 15 and gynaecological departments eight Danish hospitals. There was a high degree diagnostic agreement between survey clinical data. Four point six percent had deep, another 4·6%, superficial wound (SWI). months after second only one third these their correctly recorded routine hospital surveillance SWI. Better routines need to be developed secure valid, reliable simple registration relevant infectious complications. A follow-up carried out with self-administered questionnaires 2976 patients, whom 1447 (48·6%) responded. This post-discharge showed that 15·7% been treated antibiotics, because pus wound, 12·4% have reopened 6·6% experienced both treatments.
