摘要: Sarcomatoid carcinoma is an uncommon biphasic malignant tumor of the stomach. The histogenesis remains unknown, and a definitive diagnosis obtained with immunohistochemical staining. Since prognosis poor after surgery, more effective diagnostic tools are needed in order to select optimal therapeutic approach. We report case old female patient presenting endophytic gastric fundus who underwent partial resection Histology revealed poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma component mixed sarcomatoid component. Immunohistochemically, components exhibited positive reaction pan-cytokeratin, whereas fusiform cells showed reactions vimentin.
