摘要: Sarcomatoid carcinoma of the stomach is a rare type malignant tumor, characterized by distinct cellular morphology. This tumor even more in giant size. The present study reports case sarcomatoid carcinoma, which developed distal stomach. A 49-year-old male underwent medical investigation for gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Endoscopic examination, computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography-CT scan identified neoplasm, involved gastric antrum body, gallbladder hepatic flexure colon. Surgery was performed to excise ~14×13×8 cm diagnosis made since positive epithelial markers, within mesenchymal elements. To best our knowledge, only 5 cases have been previously reported, that has able be resected despite such large size never reported.
