摘要: Abstract The effects of the competitive NMDA receptor antagonist CPP on initiation behavioral sensitization to acute cocaine and basal cocaine-induced dopamine (DA) release in nucleus accumbens (NAC) were assessed female Sprague–Dawley rats. Cocaine pretreated rats (30 mg/kg IP, once daily for 7 days) challenged with (10 mg/kg) day 8 displayed increased motor activity relative controls 8. This effect was blocked receiving (2 15 min prior all pretreatments. Basal DA levels NAC both cocaine-pretreated plus higher compared controls. Acute challenge resulted extracellular concentrations control rats, no increase cocaine, a decrease only. These data demonstrate that development can be completely by peripherally administered an after is not absolute requirement expression
