摘要: Reduced β2 glycoprotein I (β2GPI) has been demonstrated to exhibit a beneficial effect in diabetic atherosclerosis and retinal neovascularization. However, the of reduced β2GPI on vascular disorders mellitus (DM) remains be elucidated. The present study established high glucose‑induced injury model using human umbilical cords veins (HUVECs) evaluated protective effects against injury. data that low concentration (0.5 µM) mitigated cell loss, decreased nitric oxide (NO) production resulted calcium overloading. Mechanically, additionally reversed phosphatase tensin homolog (PTEN) accumulation, decrease protein kinase B phosphorylation synthase activity, increase cyclooxygenase‑2 activity. It was further confirmed PTEN inhibitor‑bpV (1 µM) exhibited similar those resulting from β2GPI. Overall, revealed exerts HUVECs, potentially via decreasing levels. suggests may act as novel therapeutic strategy for treatment DM.
