摘要: Background and Objectives CCAT2, a novel long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), is found to promote the metastasis invasion of colon, lung, breast cancers. This study aimed investigate level CCAT2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) elucidate its clinical significance. Methods The expression status MYC amplification were examined 229 ESCC samples using quantitative real- time PCR. Results CCAT2 was upregulated tissues, especially cases with lymph node (LNM), advanced TNM stages, amplification. Furthermore, positively correlated LNM, number positive nodes. High significantly associated stages LNM. Survival analyses revealed that high poorer overall survival patients. patients had 2.199-fold increased risk death compared those low non-amplification. Conclusions Our provides first evidence associating poor ESCC. may be prognostic biomarker therapeutic target for J. Surg. Oncol. 2015 111:834–839. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
