摘要: Despite the large number of PCB congeners identified (in some environmental samples more man 70 isomers and congeners) only 12 them account for 80% total adipose tissue burden. These compounds are a selective group PCBs which highly chlorinated or alternatively lack meta-para-vicinal protons. Comparison persistent non-persistent between human tissue, breast milk fish-eating sea birds revealed similarities in bioaccumulation pattern. findings suggest certain inability cytochrome P-450 mono-oxygenases to metabolise specific PCBs.
