摘要: Abstract We report on the results of a series X-ray absorption experiments utilizing synchrotron radiation polymeric conductors, brominated (SN) x , and (CH) doped with AsF 5 . These employ K-edges bromine arsenic at 13.47 keV 11.89 keV, respectively, for study short range order in vicinity source atom. This information is supplied by backscattering effect surrounding coordination shells ejected K-shell electron (EXAFS). In addition, edge region fine structure studied to deduce molecular species present (Br 2 orBr 3 − orAsF 6 ). Experiments were performed over temperatures between K room temperature check relevant distance parameters charge transfer their dependence. Nearest second nearest neighbor distances are given while an average AsF found be somewhat larger than gas molecules. The advantages spectroscopy other methods such as XPS UPS resolution chemical questions partially disordered systems stressed, particularly, bulk sensitivity vis-a-vis surface escape depth problems techniques.
