摘要: Actively dividing cells cultured from human leptomeninges obtained at autopsy and pia neurosurgery expressed two antigens characteristic of a mature neuronal phenotype: the 160 kDa neurofilament protein (NF-M) neuron-specific enolase (NSE). The lacked typical glial, epithelial endothelial markers but did contain vimentin, normally associated with not limited to mesenchymally derived cell types. Immunocytochemical results using redundant antibodies were consistent over serial passage confirmed by Western blot analysis. Morphologically pleiomorphic frequent long, NF-M + processes. antigenic characteristics leptomeningeal pial similar those exhibited biopsy brain-derived cultures described previously, suggesting that latter may have originated adherent brain tissue specimens.
