摘要: Adult neurogenesis is now a very popular phenomenon in neuroscience. It widely accepted that neurons continue to be generated special regions of the adult brain such as subventricular zone (SVZ) forebrain and subgranular (SGZ) dentate granule cell layer. neurogenesis, however, not type occurs only stage, but part persistent continues from embryonic stages. Here, we describe similarities differences properties progenitors cellular architecture proliferative zones periods discuss elements required for neurogenesis.
