A morphological and phylogenetic revision of the Nectria cinnabarina species complex

摘要: Abstract The genus Nectria is typified by N. cinnabarina , a wood-inhabiting fungus common in temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. To determine diversity within specimens and cultures from Asia, Europe, North America were obtained examined. Their phylogeny was determined using sequences multiple loci, specifically act, ITS, LSU, rpb1, tef1, tub. Based on these observations, four species are recognised complex. Each delimited based DNA sequence analyses described illustrated cultures. basionym for cinnabarina, Sphaeria lectotypified an illustration that part protologue, epitype specimen designated. s. str. recircumscribed as having 2-septate ascospores long stipitate sporodochia. dematiosa previously considered synonym has up to sessile sporodochia or no anamorph natural substrate. A third species, nigrescens, 3-septate short One newly asiatica with distribution restricted (0–)1-septate Young mature conidia developing SNA observed each species. Mature asiatica, nigrescens but not bud when crowded. On PDA optimal temperature growth 20 °C, while other three it 25 °C. our phylogenetic analyses, subclades evident . Although subtle culture geographical differences exist, distinct because number samples small few insufficient if morphological exist environment. Taxonomic novelty: Hirooka, Rossman & P. Chaverri, sp. nov.
