摘要: Dynamite or blast fishing remains the most pervasive destructive method in coastal waters of Tanzania. It constitutes a major threat to small-scale fisheries through degradation reefs and other critical habitats for fish. The Tanzanian Government has implemented several measures including high rate patrols surveillance campaigns sea try deter use dynamite fishing. However, these have failed reduce its occurrence over past years. Little is known on why existing management are failing generate effective solutions address forms activities.
