摘要: Abstract Foot and mouth disease virus (FMDV) is a picornavirus that causes an acute vesicular of cloven-hoofed animals. This continues to be threat livestock worldwide with outbreaks causing severe economic losses. The present study shows analysis immune system phenotype function during the phase FMDV infection in swine. In first days infection, significant lymphopenia observed involves all T cell subsets, CD4 + , CD8 /CD8 . marked not result active PBMC virus. Further, response residual peripheral blood cells mitogen, Concanavalin A (ConA) significantly reduced occasionally eliminated. Animals usually resolve clinical signs develop antigen specific responses recover ConA reactivity. These characteristics likely play important role viral pathogenesis, propagation shedding particles may targeted as way improving vaccine formulations.
