摘要: Eukaryotic cells can die from physical trauma, which results in necrosis. Alternatively, they through programmed cell death upon the stimulation of specific signalling pathways. In this Review, we discuss role different pathways innate immune defence against bacterial and viral infection: apoptosis, necroptosis, pyroptosis NETosis. We describe interactions that interweave pathways, create complex networks cross-guard each other evolutionary 'arms race' with pathogens. Finally, how resulting corpses - apoptotic bodies, pore-induced intracellular traps (PITs) neutrophil extracellular (NETs) promote clearance infection.
