摘要: The study was aimed at following, under laboratory conditions, embryogenesis of the nematode Contracaecum rudolphii, and identifying its intermediate hosts in northeastern Poland. Nematode eggs, isolated from terminal part female uterus, were placed 0.9 3% NaCl solutions, 1% formalin, tap water. Each solution batch divided into 3 parts kept 4, 15, 23°C. Regardless temperature they exposed to, eggs formalin showed numerous deformations; as few 5% those produced larvae. Embryogenesis fastest While still within larvae underwent two moults. hatched to produce stage larvae, which emerged surrounded by cuticle preceding larval stage. Experimental infestations zooplankton collected Lake Kortowskie that only cyclopoid copepods could serve hosts. No differences infestation intensity found between guppies infested invasive fed cyclopoids.
