摘要: Abstract The present work describes a detailed investigation of the catalytic activity Cesium salt di-copper substituted phosphotungstate for oxidation styrene using tert-butyl hydroperoxide as oxidant. Various parameters like time, catalyst amount, mole ratio substrate to TBHP and temperature were optimized good conversion (77.9%) was obtained along with high selectivity epoxide (51.6%). recycled reused multiple times without significant loss activity. A kinetic study carried out gain deeper understanding role each component in reaction system. plausible mechanism also proposed based on studies, ESR Cyclic Voltammetry studies.
