Alcohols and acetone sensing properties of SnO2 thin films deposited by dip-coating

摘要: Abstract SnO2 thin films were prepared by dip-coating from sols of 0.5 and 0.1 mol/l. The structure morphology the analyzed through XRD, UV AFM methods. particles in standard tetragonal phase with spherical morphology. average size was about 87 nm (0.5 mol/l) 5 nm (0.1 mol/l), respectively. absorbance increased linearly increasing deposition layers. sensitivity to methanol, ethanol, propanol acetone detected at room temperature, effects concentration on investigated as well. With decreasing sol concentration, grain reduced, gas sensing properties ethanol increased. Such small could detect low 2 ppm ethanol. Response recovery time temperature within 30 s 1 min,
