A New Virtual View Rendering Method Based on Depth Image

摘要: Virtual view rendering has been considered as a key technique in three-dimensional display. A new virtual method aimed at flat-panel auto-stereoscopic displays which shifts each pixel reference image horizontally based on depth is proposed this paper. Firstly, the pre-processed by expanding objects boundaries so to avoid foreground being split due inaccuracy of image. The second shift all points desired position associated disparity, determined and limit screen parallax. Finally, handle tradeoff between quality algorithm complexity, we fill small holes with modified interpolation while remaining large disoccluded regions are recovered depth-aided inpainting algorithm. Experiments carried out show superiority method.
